Yankee Peddler Inn

I'm not sure if this is oversharing for a Google review, but my trip to RI was in the midst of a mental health struggle. Staying at the Yankee Peddler Inn was the first time I truly felt that warm, "at home" peacefulness in a long time. I stayed here in late October and couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. Liz greeted me as soon as I walked in and was an absolute gem my entire stay. She treated me like family. She told me all the best places to eat and site-see, helped me with parking, and she even helped me lug my huge suitcase up 4 flights of stairs! She made me feel like I was coming home to my own cozy house. The room was super clean and quaint, and the housekeeping team was awesome. Breakfast was wonderful and the Inn itself is so beautiful. I really can't say enough

A hidden gem !! First time to Newport and the hotel fell within our budget. Beautiful characterful property . We stayed with our daughter./ 2 double beds. Clean crisp bedding. Air con working well. The small things count. Tea /coffee on tap in the lobby area. A lovely varied continental breakfast and wonderful friendly staff ( especially Liz) Extra bonus of private car park.

I honestly loved staying here even if it was just one night. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The inn itself is very colonial and has a comfortable homey feel. We had a double queen room and it was very spacious and clean. I also appreciated the extra towels which is becoming less common. I would’ve appreciated additional lighting but that’s me being knit picky. We did take advantage of the free breakfast in the basement. That lower level was so quaint and felt like the south of France. We had quite a few options. My friend enjoyed some morning sweets and I had some boiled eggs with oatmeal and fruit & nuts. The location is very walkable to the main street with shops and restaurants but still far enough to not be too noisy. Overall would come back here in a heartbeat and wou

From the moment you arrive you have friendly innkeepers to help guide your Newport stay with perfect insights to make your stay enjoyable.||The room was spotless, easy to cool/heat, and convenient to everything. Walking from this location is perfect no matter which way you go! ||The rooftop deck, wine/cheese, refreshments, and prompt service were all much appreciated. ||Wonderful stay!

What a wonderful time we had at the beautiful Yankee Peddler Inn! Liz was so helpful and knowledgeable as to her recommendations on where to go to tour and eat. The breakfast was so good each morning as they had fresh fruit and many healthy options. We were within walking distance to everything and had a great stay!
