Island House Newport

My husband and I enjoyed a 2-night getaway at the Island House Newport. The property is new, very clean with a great aesthetic. Modern amenities, we had a full kitchen, dining room; living room, large bathroom and laundry. Would be great for families! Conveniently located, walkable to shops, Cliff Walk and The Elms. Staff friendly and accommodating. Fitness center nearby and included in stay. Bikes for use, but weather didn’t permit. Highly recommend!

Lovely! Had a girls night with my best friend here. Perfect location without having to deal with downtown chaos. Easy parking. Checking was simple. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Price is perfect annd I love that you don’t have to do a two night minimum like most places in Newport. Absolutely coming back!

Island House is one of our family's favorite places we've stayed in recent memory. You get the quality and service of a high-end hotel, but the space and livability of a short-term rental. We spent a week and would have loved to stay longer. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished, and the beds were comfortable with wonderful linens. The small den set up in one of the bedrooms was nice additional space. Great bathrooms, towels, toiletries and robes. The kitchen was extremely well-appointed with new equipment and utensils and a full-sized refrigerator- everything needed to prepare most meals. If I could give service 10 stars I would. This gem of a hotel is very clean, with coastal charm. It’s walking distance to Bellevue & Thames. The service is beyond excellent. There’s so many amazing things they did for us, but the best was, they mentioned to the restaurant they made reservations for, that we had a birthday. The restaurant, The Moorings, greeted us with a happy birthday, then had a birthday dessert ready for us to celebrate. Highly recommend Island Resort. Spent the night to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday with her 2 besties. When we arrived, the room was decorated so sweet with balloons and a card, which was a wonderful touch. The room was immaculate and beach decor was so refreshing after a week of snow from the blizzard. We will definitely be back for a quick getaway! 🩵
