The Royce Newport

I recently spent five nights at The Royce in Newport Rhode Island. It is an exquisitely renovated historic home steps to most major attractions. The decor is stunning. The staff is most accommodating. I highly recommend The Royce. You can rent out one room or the entire home. It has a beautiful courtyard and they are now renovating an adjacent home to host weddings and major life celebrations!! It is clean, charming, and I would not hesitate to rebook.

Staying at The Royce Newport was truly an experience. Every detail feels intentional — elevated, refined, and thoughtfully curated. The design perfectly embodies Newport’s historic charm while seamlessly blending in modern luxury. Nothing feels overlooked. It was exactly what I needed during my event weekend. It gave me a place to prepare, breathe, gather, and feel at home — all while being surrounded by beauty. The courtyard is dreamy, the kitchen has everything you could need, and the two stunning living rooms make the space feel both grand and intimate. The location is unbeatable — close to everything, yet tucked away enough to feel private and special. Beyond the stunning design, what truly stood out was how accommodating and gracious the team was. Sixteen of us stayed at The Royce on Pelham and The Royce on Spring to celebrate our birthdays, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The houses are in a great location, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and historic spots, and just a short drive to the Newport Mansions and Cliff Walk. The homes are beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our group to gather and relax together, inside and outside. From booking to checkout, Cameron was attentive, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. The Royce is perfect for a girls’ trip, as well as for couples, families, work events, or special occasions.

The Royce Newport truly exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the charm of the place was undeniable. It has this wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere that just makes you want to relax and soak it all in. With downtown Newport being a walking distance away, it made the stay worth every penny. My wife and I also felt so cared for by the staff. They were genuinely welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect stay. We will surely be back!
