Wyndham Hotel & Conference/Banquet Center

Positive: The hotels location was good for necessary shopping and dining. Negative: Was not satisfied at all . Subpar service. The staff was lacking in many areas. They didn't have enough towels or toiletries to accommodate the number of people listed on reservation. Dirty bathtub and commode reeked of urine. Wouldn't recommend it !

Room was spacious and clean, but property in general seemed to need a refresh. Convenient to FNT. Restaurants close by. Did not take advantage of free breakfast because we had to catch flight.

Where to start with this review. This hotel experience was rough to say the very least. My partner and I planned a fun night with the kiddos and thought this hotel would be a fun stay because of the pool and pool side hotel rooms. The laundry list of issues is very long so I will focus on the main take aways on why to avoid this hotel like the plague. While waiting in line to check into our room we watched a woman manager belittle her new employee to the point of second hand embarrassment for the employee! I was absolutely shocked that she was treating him the way she did and to do that in front of guests says volumes about how this location is ran. So the staff was very nice, the room was nice and clean with pretty modern setups. I and my wife got a king sized bed and it was comfy. Sadly the restaurant was occupied by a private party so we couldn't eat there and it was also closed Monday, but I live close so maybe I will come back and try it. The only reason it's not a 5 star is because the pools heater was on the fritz and the pool was like 50ish degrees maybe, and also the sauna was working but the light inside was out. Breakfast seemed nice, I only grabbed a milk and a hashbrown because I don't eat large breakfasts but it was all good looking and enough variety to please most I would say. All in all a good place to come and stay if you are in the area and the room price wasn't bad for how big and spacious it was.

The staff was very nice and it was convenient having a room that was right by the pool, but I am sorry to say I would not stay here again. Our room and the hotel were clean, but it's vacancy was surprising. There were not many other guests and customer service was noticeably affected by that. The pool was really chilly and did not have a single towel out to use, the breakfast was very limited / unappetizing and the vending machines were completely empty. Checkout is at 11 and the pool opens at 10, so it's harder to get morning swim time with kids.
