Wyndham Garden Charlotte Executive Park

The hotel is dated with paint thrown over it to make it look fresh. My room was very dated. The furniture was from a resale wholesaler. Damaged. Carpet was disgusting. The refrigerator did not work at all. The room I had, the door would not lock when you left the room. It just opened back up. Brought this to the attention of the front desk staff. They could not problem solve at all. I do not recommend this hotel to stay at. It’s not worth the money.

Very Dissatisfied. Broken elevators, broken down pool, only ice that worked was on the 4th floor, dirty carpets throughout, mildewed blow dryer bag on back of door. So dirty, I would not have thought about eating any kind of breakfast there.

Booked direct as a Wyndham Rewards Diamond member expecting basic competence. Instead, this stay felt like a checklist of “how to do everything wrong.” Zero recognition of direct booking/Diamond status. Website showed higher room types, yet no upgrade. I asked for late checkout (or at least luggage storage since I had time before my flight). Answer: no late checkout, no storage, no solution — and no manager available to speak with. A hotel that can’t store luggage is… a new low. Requested a quiet room and got placed right next to the elevator. Room issues: expired toiletries, broken A/C control panel, faucet leaking all night, and a strong mold/mildew smell. I stayed at this hotel and had one of the worst experiences of my life. My room had bedbugs, and I have photos and videos proving it. I immediately went to the front desk to report it, expecting at least an apology and a refund. Instead, the staff completely denied it, acted like I was making it up, and refused to refund me even after I showed them clear proof. The lack of professionalism was unbelievable. I had to leave the hotel in the middle of the night because there was no way I could stay in a room with bedbugs. Not only was it disgusting, but I also had to spend extra money to book another place last minute. Save yourself the stress, money, and health risk. Positive: Location Negative: It was just an old hotel, there was no phone in the room where you could call to the front desk. The plumbing went out for a couple hours while we were there. We had to leave cause there was no water.
