Residence Inn by Marriott Charlotte Airport

Great experience and stay, needed to book a one night stay after connecting flight to NYC was cancelled and was rebooked for the next night. Evening hotel manager was very kind, sorry it’s been too long to remember his name (i believe he has a legal background, as well as his friend. They were both very kind and empathetic when I was checking in and stressed and upset from a rough day of travel.||I used their complimentary shuttle on my return trip to the Charlotte NC airport.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SpringHill Suites by Marriott consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate me during my stays. As someone who travels frequently, I truly appreciate how military friendly and welcoming the staff is. The accommodations are top notch, the rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff is absolutely amazing. A special bonus is the breakfast buffet. My 10 year old daughter Olivia absolutely loves it, and the waffles are superb. This location truly feels like a home away from home.

As a Silver Elite member, I chose this property despite having many other options, and I deeply regret that decision. From the moment I entered the room, it was clear there was a serious issue. The room smelled awful—dank, musty, and anything but fresh. Since I had already unpacked, I was forced to leave the hotel to purchase candles and Febreze just to make the room tolerable. That is not something any guest should ever have to do. To make matters worse, I was abruptly awakened at 7:30 a.m. by loud pounding, slamming, and constant banging from the room above me. Only then did it become apparent that the hotel is undergoing extensive renovations—information that was never disclosed at booking or check-in. We had a great stay! The hotel was very clean, the rooms were newly renovated and looked great, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everything felt fresh and well taken care of. Highly recommend.

A friendly and attentive hotel representative greeted us as we entered the hotel. The process was efficient and we were in our room within minutes. The room was spacious and comfortable, but most importantly clean. We always appreciate the marriott beds which makes traveling more comfortable. The only issue was with the air conditioning fan which is located by the bed. It can be somewhat noisy. Overall, a great night's sleep. We will likely return when traveling to Charlotte.
