WoodSpring Suites Houston IAH Airport

Dirty. I had a spill the first day. I cleaned the floor with a towel, which became extremely dirty afterward. They don't do housekeeping, only every 15 days if you stay long-term. They charge for a clean towel. Beds are hard and cheap; you may as well not have pillows. No one is at the front desk after 10 for whatever unsafe reason. Lose your key card and get charged $10 for another one. Poorly taken care of. I almost forgot about the annoying motion detection light switches. Not even free coffee like every other hotel I have been in, and no coffee pot in the room either. I stay 5 nights a week in a hotel, and this is by far the worst experience in years.

Horrible experience. Elevator was inoperable throughout our entire stay. We were in the middle of a state to state move and had to haul all of our stuff up the stairs. Also, the AC unit was stuck on 60 making the room icy cold. We were told to just unplug it until the room warmed up and reset it. There was not a definitive plan to fix either AC or elevator. When I did unplug it, it wouldn’t come back on. Called them again. Said they would put a work order in…never heard back. The front staff were nice and polite however … the place is just inefficiently managed.

Do not stay here. The manager was beyond nasty and doesn’t know how to speak to customers. She yelled and talked down to me when I was trying to figure out why I was being billed twice. They charge for extra towels and the room smelled of mold. This experience was overall the worst but I guess you get what you paid for.

I recently had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at WoodSpring Suites. When we arrived, my ID was expired, so my husband used his valid ID to rent the room. Everything seemed fine at first, but shortly afterward, the staff called the police on us and told us we had to leave — without giving any real explanation. other than my ID was expired however my husband had Valid one And rent the room... What made this even worse is that we had our four-month-old baby with us, and they put us out in the cold with nowhere to go. We were treated unfairly and without compassion, and the situation could have been handled with much more understanding and professionalism. horrible staff !!! management has room inspections where they come at random times and tell you to vacate if you dont sweep and mop the floor! pleaseeeeeeee dont ever come. only person who wasnt rude and was actually helpful was the guy! cabinets were old dated along with tub, refrigerator. but i hate to say the women were terribly rude
