Holiday Inn Houston NE - Bush Airport Area by IHG

The rooms were very clean and there is lots of free parking. There is a restaurant / bar which we tried a couple of times and the food was good. The bar staff were also friendly and the breakfast pretty good.|The hotel is situated perfectly for transit via IAH so would recommend for everything except the shuttle service. The policy they adopt for this is to pick up or take people to the airport either on the hour or on the half hour. In theory my understanding is you can arrive in IAH, and, if it falls awkwardly you could, in theory be waiting 45 minutes for a shuttle.|This policy is contrary to what is stipulated on the IHG website. The Houston NE Bush Airport area Holiday Inn location was better than most other nearby locations. Nicer, more upscale feel. Nice full service bar and restaurant. Has cushion bench seating, silverware, fabric napkins, and fresh breakfast selection. One thing we didn't like was our room was locationed by illuminated signage or flood light. Our room was brightly lite from the outside at all times. Didn't have blackout curtains to close. Slept poorly as a result.

I specifically booked this IHG property because it advertised a hot tub. My daughter had just won NCA after an intense competition, and her body was extremely sore. The hot tub was not just a “bonus” — it was the deciding factor in choosing this hotel. At no point during booking or check-in was I told the hot tub was not working. There was no notice online and no disclosure from staff. We only discovered the issue when we went down to use it — and the water was ice cold. When I brought it to the front desk’s attention, I was told to speak to a manager in the morning. The next morning, there was no manager available. Another employee stated the issue was “above his pay grade” and suggested I should have called ahead to confirm the amenity was working before booking. That response was unac

Greeted warmly. The room was clean, furnishings were good, walk-in shower was great! There is construction in the area so allow for potential delay. The restaurant had some nice choices and friendly service there.

Ayushi, Trevor, and Marzanta were all very helpful and polite! Rooms and entire hotel were very clean and it was also very quiet. The southwest salad at the on site restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend!!
