WoodSpring Suites Austin South Central I-35

Absolutely horrible hotel — do NOT stay here. Our stay at WoodSpring Suites Signature Austin South Central was a complete nightmare. We originally had a reservation for 6 nights, but it was so bad that we were forced to leave early and book another hotel just to feel comfortable. First, we were instructed to leave our trash outside our room, which already felt unprofessional. Then, at almost 1:00 AM, a woman from the front desk came knocking on our door and told us to take the trash out ourselves. She scolded us like children, speaking rudely and disrespectfully, even though we were only following the instructions we were given. We arrived to the hotel at night on April 6th and the entrance to the hotel was a bit away from the hotel causing us to pass it and we had to go around and back track. The check-in process was very convenient. For a new hotel it had an "old, musty feel and smell to it. The room although appeared clean, it was far from welcoming. The odor in the room was extremely overpowering. I thought we would get us to it thinking it was the cleaning products but it didn't get any better. It felt like my sinuses were on fire. The floor had a tacky feel to it too so I came to a conclusion that too much cleaning product had been used. This is for Denise at WoodSpring Suites Signature in Austin South Central, Texas…she absolutely made my stay completely workable and more than livable. Her kind professionalism and sweet nature always asked how I was doing, throughout my long term stay. The Manager was truly generous and pivotal in my decision to stay these few months, and I’m grateful for her newest Staff member (also, a female) for literally jumping in after Rebecca moved home. These women work overly hard and stay very busy to make this hotel a success and welcoming experience. The Housekeeping Staff are equally friendly, as well as the Maintenance man. Thank you all for making this review so easy to complete!

TERRIBLE!!! I usually don’t write reviews but this place was absolutely insane. First I get there and the elevators are broken. Okay cool. They take a $100 deposit in either cash or card for the night then it’s returned to you the next day. I did cash so I could get it back asap when I check out instead of waiting 5-7 business days to go back on my card. When I check out the next morning they tell me the safe with my money won’t open but they are working on it. Me and my girlfriend go get breakfast for an hour and come back because we live an hour 30 from the hotel and didn’t want to drive back. We go back the hotel and are told it still won’t open and they have no clue when it’ll be. No compensation what so ever is offered. I decided I’d just come back another day and waste 3 hours drivin

Worst hotel ever: 1. The elevator doesn't work. 2. The bathroom in the lobby doesn't work.. 3. When we got to our room, it was filthy. The maids had clearly not been there. 4. They moved us to a different room. 5. The stove doesn't work. 6. We tried and tried all night to get the heater to work, but to no avail. 7. It's 26 degrees outside and sleeting, and they still have not moved us to a different room.
