Studio Haus East 6th Austin by Kasa

Loved this hotel! The aesthetic was clean and minimalist, but the vibe from the always-attentive staff was warm and friendly. My room had a kitchenette with an electric kettle and a nice selection of teas, and the brew-in-bag coffee exceeded expectations; it was actually delicious! Don't let the location put you off, either--despite being in the thick of the East 6th Street bar scene, this hotel is QUIET. They kindly provide a white noise machine and earplugs for light sleepers, but I didn't even need them. And the housekeeping is by request, so you don't have to worry about someone coming knocking every morning if you forget to put the DO NOT DISTURB sign out. I prefer a hands-off hotel stay, and this property was everything I want and need. Definitely going to choose the Studio Haus or K

Very nice hotel. Very affordable esp.ecially compared to Marriot ,which I stayed in the night before. Calm atmosphere, clean rooms. Like an upscale air b&b. The room itself was well equipped with everything someone needed to be comfortable. There was a concierge in the lobby when I came in or checked out. I really liked the free laundry available on the 2nd floor.Who has free laundry nowadays? Maybe if you stay with your parents,lol. A nice addition. The location was excellent, very close to downtown without being too close. I brought a bicycle with me,and fortunately there were so many great bike trails in the area that got me around the city to different attractions. Wet floor at check in. Room not fully ready. Notification of the in room washer not working after arrival. WiFi stopped working so they relocated me to another room but that door would not lock. Frustrating to experience.

The room was spacious, comfortable and the room was clean and expansive. I enjoyed being greeted warmly and the checking in via AI was nice to know that someone was there. Everyone from the staff front desk, operations, maintenance, and housekeeping were super professional and friendly! GPS sent me right to the location so easy access and was able to secure a parking spot the entire time. Wonderful access to yummy food!

The front desk staff (Mel) is super helpful! I had a typo on my guest name and couldn’t check in online. My booking agency said I needed to rebook cause they can’t make any changes…but the front desk helped me correct it and I checked in successfully! I also booked one more night after my original reservation. It generated another booking ID and I asked the front desk if it is possible to stay at the same room. She helped me request in their internal system and tried to set it up. It didn’t work out eventually but the receptionist is super helpful and nice! Amazing service!
