Wingate by Wyndham Fredericksburg

The staff at the front desk was very friendly and professional. The room was a nice size, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean with modern fixtures. Parking was free. The only negative was that they wouldn't let me have a late checkout at 1pm, but they did let me check out at noon.

It's nice but if you are expecting to be "wowed" find another hotel. Some rooms were renovated while others were not. The mattresses are spring mattresses and DO NOT feel good at all. The staff was helpful and nice, I wish I could give them higher than three stars but the appearance of the hotel is holding that back.

First the bad: A little trouble with the keys and the the toilet chain wasn't connected, but was a quick fix. The 30lb was missing from the the weight room. Then the good: very clean and well maintained. Pool was clean and tested regularly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Would recommend.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and the continental breakfast was standard. But the bed in the business suite was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. A week later and I'm already planning my next leisure trip as the first was for business and I didn't get to enjoy the indoor pool or jacuzzi.

I called a half an hour before arriving was quoted a price the price was actually what was quoted. The person at the desk was great the hotel was very impressive and very festively decorated. Everything was very clean. the breakfast was great I didn't expect such a variety especially considering it was complimentary. My only complaint would be the jacuzzi not working but the price and and everything else more than made up for it
