The staff was welcoming and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable 😊 The campground itself is clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. Our site was level with full hookups, and the facilities—including restrooms and showers—were spotless 🚿✨ The grounds are peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of travel or sightseeing. Location is a huge plus 👍 Close enough to Washington, DC and Fredericksburg for easy day trips, yet far enough away to enjoy a calm campground atmosphere. Campground located off route 95 and route 1 easy access. Well stocked store.|Clean and well maintained grounds and restrooms. Cabins were heated. Some equipped with mini fridge and tv-same rental fee as without.|Friendly, helpful staff.|Grandchildren spent hours playing GA -GA ball, climbing on the playground equipment and riding bikes. |Recommend bringing bottled water-my family didn't like the taste of site water, bring multi outlet out door cord for electric use at outside box, limited outlets inside for charging phones etc. |Restroom cleaning hours 11-1.

This place was exactly what we need, quiet and serene but near historical places and downtown Fredericksburg. Our campsite was flat, easy to back into, with a beautiful pond view. The staff were super friendly. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer, next time!

Nice place. Shade trees. Dog run. Road is a little narrow on the way in but no problem if you take it easy. We stayed one nite on the way south. Convenient to interstate.

We have never stayed in a KOA before, but it was necessary this time. We just have 2 adults and only needed a place to park with full hook-ups. I'm sure if we had the grandkids, they would have loved the pool and other amenities. So we did not take advantage of the game room, the horseshoes or the pool. The gravel site was not very level. There was nice man who guided us to our site and collected trash. The wife was excellent, the water pressure was good, the cell service was good. The office staff was great and helpful.
