Hampton Inn & Suites Fredericksburg-at Celebrate Virginia

I spent 3 nights in this hotel for a tournament in the convention center that my son was participating. I have been traveling a lot in past years and stayed in different hotels, economic or luxurious, but I don’t usually leave comments on hotels. I have to say this hotel has some excellent staff, especially Constance. She was very kind and helpful. Others are as friendly, considerate and helpful as her. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had with hotels.

We stayed at this hotel the year prior and found it to be pretty decent. Friendly staff and clean rooms . We decided to stay again this year as well . This time it wasn’t quite as comfortable. When we entered our room there was quite an overwhelming odor . Maybe some sort of air freshener to cover up a smell perhaps. It was not a good one either. The price for the room was quite high most likely because of the day of week we stayed. The breakfast area was okay. Staff are all very friendly. My biggest challenge was the scented whatever it was in the room . This stay didnt seem worth it due to the high nightly rate and the issues we experienced. It’s probably not fair but we compare this Hampton Inn to the one we stay in Florence SC on our way to Florida. That one is significant

All in all this was a great hotel and I'm amazed how large your rooms are when compared to other hotels Ive stayed at in the past. This was an excellent hotel room for the price we paid. The room was very spacious and your hotel staff is phenomenally friendly! The breakfast was great and tasted delicious and your waffle maker was really cool. Your omelets also tasted very good as well. I liked that you offered coffee 24 hours a day which was amazing. You had a painting crew that was there during our stay which woke us up at 645 in the morning when they started painting. Maybe have them start around 730 or 8am? Also our shade in the room did not always operate correctly at all times. The pool inside down on the lower level smells extremely moldy and musty. I can only imagine what you wou

Very nice Hampton Inn. Room was clean and modern with widescreen TV, comfortable beds, mini fridge and microwave. Hot and cold breakfast items typical for Hampton Inn’s. Lots of restaurants to choose from within a mile from the hotel. One of the nicest Hampton Inn’s we’ve stayed at.
