WindWater Hotel & Marina

My star is for the lady at the front desk. I have stayed in a few places at the island and I have never payed as much as I payed here ($559) for one night. Expedias says it’s a $5 fee when check in. Correction for a condo is $50 non refundable and not sure where the $5 is for plus $100 deposit. As soon as I arrived I felt so disappointed in myself for booking I traveled with husband and my kids and the place was NOT IT. The sheets felt dirty, the showers, the pool water was dark all the soaps (shampoo, body wash, and hand soap are all the same) and the air didn’t work. If you don’t mind where you stay this is for you.

Positive: The location was good Negative: Dusty. The smoke detector was broken hanging off the wall. Dirty shower. Hair was on the wall and floor of bathtub was black.

This is one of the worst hotels you can stay at, starting from hot rooms and rude staff to ROACHES! Went to complain to the staff about the roaches and them not doing housekeeping when they clearly charged me an extra quote for that and the employee seemed so disturbed showing really low quality customer service. Had to go 2x to ask for towels! Took them over an hour to do so and they didn't even seem to show interest about the roaches! Honestly very disappointing. The vents started to stink like marijuana when they clearly stated it was a smoke free location! Mind you the room was also hot all night long. Very disappointed with it over all especially cause I paid over $500!

I would give a zero if the beds weren't comfortable. The toilet seat was broken. After a week I fixed it myself, then as I was leaving in the afternoon I met the maintenance man as I was leaving. The hot tub was inoperable. My understanding was it had been out of order for at least 3 years. No breakfast. No coffee pot in the room. The pool was filthy. The laundry room was absolute filthy and the one coin operated washer and dryer did not work properly. An hour and a half to dry to half way then we airdried in the room. Parking is secure, but very tight. The location is good, but the entire hotel is run down and in need of many repairs. Stay somewhere else!

10/10 both 2 people at front desk were so nice and helpful! stayed for a week and a day and i didn't have any issues. the regular rooms were pretty clean no problems at all, upgraded too a suite that was only $30 and had a pretty outside view of the bay! 10/10 recommend staying here. Also very pet friendly i had a xl pitbull and they had no problem with him staying there. pool was very clean and so was the hot tub that was the only thing that wasn't working but with this heat it wasn't a problem at all. lovedd staying here will forsure be back soon! i recommend if you ask me! 😁😁😁😁
