Nice park, good place to fish, the bait stand was never open we went 3 different days. You can fish off the jetty by where you park or even better, before the jetty turn right you'll see the admin building? I suppose, there's a bulkhead or a grassy area, probably should get there a little early, there weren't a lot of people maybe 6 and it's a pretty area, but if you want a good spot get there by 7-7:30? $12 entrance fee.

Phenomenal park. Wildlife was abundant. The park was so quiet and peaceful. You could see stars for miles. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to just get away from it all.

This place has really cleaned up, it used to be packed with RVs, currently there are many open spaces, several RV’s with no one on site but RV is connected. You can stay here up to 6 months. Grass sticker burrs are a real pain and a hazard, the entires grass area is covered with them so there is no walking around without shoes. Be cautious with your fur buddies. The construction is finished we had been here in Dec of 2018 and the entire area was under construction, but the walkway along the boardwalk is beautiful. You can walk around the entire park and get 1.5 miles on your step tracker :)

We stayed a week at Isla Blanca RV park and loved every minute! Warning - the grass has stickers and will get into your dogs' toes.

The best place to surf on SPI. If you always wanted to try surfing this is a great spot to try it out. No coral or lava rock to worry about and nice, easy waves with soft sandy bottom. Sand is the best for castle making and has almost a cement value to it. Make sure to visit the big Jesus statue and the Coastal Studies Lab. The jetties are really neat, but hold on to your littlest ones! There is a $10 fee for parking.
