Wind and Sea

The venue is appealing but the experience was not worth it. What was meant to be one of the most special and memorable days of our lives turned into a stressful and exhausting experience due to a series of preventable issues and a complete lack of on-site support from their team. Upon arrival, the overall condition of the property was poor. The trash was overflowing and ransacked by rodents. The guest house hot water wasn't working, outdoor speakers/lighting wasn't working, the seating was set up incorrectly, many things were broken, there was glass in the walkway, and the grass in the ceremony area was overgrown. We reached out to Wind and Sea for thei r"on-site" support and nobody received no response. We spent the morning of our wedding cleaning up their mess and trying to fix things,

What an incredible wedding venue! Not only are the views stunning, the property is beautifully maintained and allows the couple and some guests to stay onsite. The venue does SO MUCH heavy lifting in terms of ambiance and decor. The interior, grounds, and ceremony space are all beautiful. We didn't feel the need for to rent any decor -- it's already stunning! They provide a variety of table shapes/sized (dinner, cocktail, bar risers), flatware, dinnerware, and more. All we really HAD to rent was linens. We hired preferred vendors from each category, all of who were very familiar with the venue and did an amazing job! Highly recommend going with their preferred vendors. Knowledge of the venue helps create a seamless day.

Filming Weddings at Wind & Sea Estate in Big Sur is always a dream! This private oceanfront property offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and feels like a hidden gem. The estate is surrounded by lush greenery, pines, and eucalyptus, creating a serene, intimate atmosphere for weddings. The secluded beaches, the ocean-view lawn for ceremonies, and sunset portraits along the private pathways make for some truly magical wedding film moments. Receptions under the stars, with the sound of waves crashing in the background, create a peaceful yet dramatic vibe. Wind & Sea Estate is an incredible venue for couples looking for an exclusive and unforgettable experience!

I had my DREAM wedding here. They were kind, helpful, and accommodating. The view alone is beyond anything that photos can do justice. If you are considering Wind & Sea as a wedding venue, just do it. You will not regret it.
