Although we stayed in a cabin it still had the feel of outdoor camping. We even had our own private fire pit. Weather tucked so the plan hiking of Point Lobos State Natural Reserve didn't happen but still was able to see some awesome views.

when we arrive at site around 3:30, no one at office has to wait for around 15 minutes for someone to show up. they give us cabin 5 which is very dark and no bathroom. I went back to complain no bathroom. they offer me another room with bathroom for additional $175 plus tax. at the end of negotiation they charged me $100 for a room with bathroom. I will not come to this place again.!!! The campsite is nice. but not the cabin which is small and old , I mean old. but you can call it very rustic!!!!!

I loved camping at Riverside campground. It was great, the sound of the river was wonderful. They have wifi and it worked great. Every spot had a water spout. The showers had the best smelling toiletries. The space was perfect, I definitely plan on going back camping 🏕️

This place is amazing and out-of-this-world. This was our first time camping by the river. Our family made such great memories here and can't wait to book again. The people working here were very kind, friendly, and accommodating. The camp store had healthy options. The grounds and the bathrooms were well maintained. Huge thanks to Julio. Thank you so much for all your help with our camper van. You have made our camping trip memorable in a very good way. We would’ve never known what to do. You are a great asset to the Riverside camping community.

A great place to stay, but after years of being a family-run camp ground, it is now corporate. Prices have increased dramatically and after camping there for over 50 years, the warm feeling of "welcome back* is gone. Since I wrote this, I have new information, the person that was “incharge”. was not really in charge and caused all sorts of problems during the Transition of ownership.. She is no longer there and I Felt welcome. I’m still removing one star because the prices has have gone up dramatically.
