My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful stay!||Eleanor and Carol at the front desk were professional, kind and fun!||The cottage we got was well appointed and very clean. We had a great little kitchen, natural fireplace complete with wood, starter wood and paper to start the fire.|Great outdoor fire too with wood ready to go.|We were just a few seconds away from a gorgeous bubbling river!||The entire property is quiet, mostly couples. It was exactly what we needed to get away and relax. We would have loved to stay longer ….next time.😊||We highly recommend this place for a great peaceful and fun getaway! ||Close to restaurants and shops too! ||Great job to all the staff! |Enjoy the rest of your summer and we hope to see a real soon! ||Donancy |❤️❤️

NO WIFI!!! IF YOU NEED WIFI THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. DON'T PAY ATTENTION WHEN YOU READ OR ARE TOLD THERE IS WIFI. THERE IS NOT. The staff goes so far as to criticize you for even wanting it! We stayed in cabin 16 which was roomy and clean. Wonderful fireplace, consistent heating, and hot water. Due to proximity to the road, cabins aren't quiet until dark when traffic slows. One bundle of wood is supplied but if you would like to purchase more be prepared to pay 3 times what you should be. Very minimal supplies. Coffee pot, toaster, stove, refrigerator. Not enough silverware for even 4 people. Not enough cookware to cook with. ANTS!! ANTS!! ANTS!! Ants are everywhere in every room. All food must be in the refrigerator or sealed containers. Ants were even found crawli

Spent 3 days with the family. Glad we got the cabin because we have a 24 month old. Kiddos loved it. Location is gorgeous. Staff was super nice and welcoming. No wifi. Come with downloaded videos.

I've been going off and on for more than 20 years. Ripplewood is one of best, most secluded resorts on the planet. I love that uninterrupted quiet is prized as much as the redwoods that surround the spot. Forget the internet for a few days. Be one with the 🌳

The location is amazing. We stayed across the street from the river and forest views were great. We saw lots of jays and a few deer. Things were generally quiet. Most of the cabin was fine. The kitchen was functional and the living room was nice. The back bed room smelled really musty, even after we opened the windows. The shower though was bad. The tub and the surround are separating (I suspect the weight of the tub is too much for the old floors) and mold was growing in the gap. I'm fine with old and rustic, but that level of uncleanliness is not ok.
