I used to be part of the WNC staff and still have friends that continue to give their summers to this great program. Expect your kid to get muddy, sweaty, and a few bug bites. They're allowed to get in touch with their wild side. The junior counselor program is an amazing volunteer and leadership experience for young adults. I believe this camp gives kids a true camp experience that is not offered at any other day camp in Lincoln.
This camps is amazing for all individuals involved. You can tell the counselors love their jobs, they keep the kids busy playing in the natural world and they invite the parents to activities as well. Wonderful place to be!
