The Scarlet, Lincoln, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

I’ve been a frequent business traveler to the Scarlet and I go out of my way to stay at this hotel! The rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. The breakfast sandwiches at the good & well are excellent. The restaurant is top notch…highly recommend the steak, roasted chicken and short ribs! Whoever opened the hotel did things the right way from decor to providing a top notch gym with Life Fitness equipment and a separate yoga room. Although your wine list became very basic Marriott when you changed management companies and you’ve looked for ways to save $ on the small things that made the Scarlet stand out from other Marriott properties. Love every stay at The Lincoln. Ease of check in, valet parking, good restaurant & allows pets! Rooms are very spacious, clean & well maintained. Only complaint is the lack of good lighting in our 1 bedroom suite. With no overhead lighting in either room, you have to turn on 5 lamps in the living room And, the bedroom has lighting only at one bedside. Very difficult to do work or read in the room?

This place allowed my son to book a hotel room and when he arrived he was not allowed to check in, a parent called and they still would not make an exception. Poor customer service! Booking Policy: You must generally be at least 18 years old to make a booking. • Exceptions: Sometimes, if a parent or guardian books and pays, a younger adult (18-20) may be allowed to stay, but it is highly recommended to call the hotel directly to confirm this in advance. • What does it matter to call the same day or in advance, especially if he is 19 and booked it himself?? Ridiculous!

Positive: I loved the lobby and the overall aesthetic. Really cool vibe in the common area. Negative: The hotel bed was rather hard and the pillows were AWFUL- hard as stone. My husband had a hard time sleeping.

Had a great overnight stay at The Scarlet, while in town for a concert. The service was great from the moment that we arrived. The room was spacious and clean, and no carpet-love! Mini fridge and clothes steamer (def a great perk) are in the rooms. We did not use valet, but did use the parking. $20 parking for the open lot next door is kind of crazy, but you don't have a lot of choice. The shuttle service was so nice. It took us to the Haymarket area and then also picked us up from a concert at The Pinnacle Bank Arena close to midnight. That is a great amenity. I would definitely stay here again.
