Whispering Winds Motel

Nice Mom & Pop place. A little outdated but clean. Comfortable bed. Pool looks nice, although we didn’t go in. We almost drove right by it because their sign is faded and overgrown. That could use some TLC. We would stay here again.

This is a very simple accommodation. No fan in bathroom. Large stain on one comforter. Had microwave, small fridge, small tv. Had a carport next to entry. Chairs on carport and a gazebo in back of building, individual buildings holding 2 rooms. Owners were very accommodating. Close to Skaneateles.

If you are used to luxury, this ain't the place for you. If you want clean, quaint nostalgia, bingo! We stayed here for a quick overnight before a super early soccer tournament at nearby Everest Park. This place was the closest we could find, meaning a few more minutes to sleep in the morning, and it was very inexpensive. We literally just needed a place to brush our teeth and beds to sleep in. Did not expect much, but this place was neat as a pin, had way more accommodations than we expected (in room coffee maker, microwave, fridge). The beds were very basic with hard mattresses, but it just so happens, that is how we like them. Pillows were comfy. Loved that every room had a carport right outside with it's own outdoor table. Charming and cute yet unpretentious. Great location. If you like old fashioned or antique atmosphere, this is for you. We had a great time. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Be sure to check out Rosalie's Cucina for dinner and At Long Last for breakfast/lunch. Both are excellent. Many lakes and wineries nearby as well.

We had a great stay at the motel. Owner’s were so nice and helpful. They made themselves available. The rooms were clean and came with nice amenities. It’s an older place. Not a hotel, so if that is what you are looking for it might not be your choice. But again, it fit our needs.
