West Poplar River Camp

Fantastic water source makes up for the angled terrain of camp. Plenty of trees makes it great for hammocks, but the sloped tent pads is less ideal for ground sleepers.

This is a good site located above the gurgling Poplar River. The trail runs between the river and the campsite. I do remember the tent pads being somewhat inclined, but it didn't cause me any problems.

Good location, but there are only a couple areas to set up tents, and the site is mostly slanted. Still a lovely area.

Not real flat. But, chill and close to the river.
