Mountain Inn

Great accommodations for MLK ski weekend - the location of the property was excellent (close proximity to the Lutsen Resort). Facility was clean, staff was extremely friendly and helpful and there were great perks (free popcorn and cider, free shuttle to the lifts). We don't normally buy things from a hotel pantry, but the pantry here was perfectly presented, convenient (breakfast sandwiches, sodas, even frozen pizzas!), and reasonably priced for those evenings when you're exhausted after skiing and just want to feed the kiddo and veg out. If you want a restaurant, Mogul's is literally across the street too!

Cute and homey hotel in such a great location! I was really pleased with my stay. Front desk staff were very nice. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, but all the pillows in my room were quite flat? I will mention that the walls are thin so you can definitely hear people walking past, opening doors, and if you have a 1st floor room like I did, you will hear people walking around above you. Overall, this was a great place to stay for the short time I was there 😊

We stayed at the Mountain Inn for our Lutsen ski trip this past weekend. The hotel is very clean, the staff are super friendly, and there is complimentary coffee, cider, popcorn, and s'mores, which is super fun! The rates are very reasonable. I would stay here again if I come back to Lutsen.

Positive: The market for food was good. Negative: Ice machine not working in morning. Pillows and bed were way too firm. Please fix, and you'll have higher repeat business.

I was blown away by my experience at the Mountain Inn, from the cider / coffee, to the Sauna after a day on the slopes, and a helpful shuttle to and from the mountain. The room even had a roku to watch whatever you wanted to after your day. I was thrilled with my 2 night stay. I will be back!
