Ski Hill Cabins and Saunas

If I just could add more stars I would definitely done it! We had a wonderful stay and were truly happy with our experience. The location is fantastic (just 2-3 min from Lutsen ski area), and the place itself was very clean, neat, and well cared for. The kitchen had everything what we need and even more, which made our stay very comfortable and convenient. Kids had fun making roasted marshmallows outside by the fire pit while adults enjoyed wonderful sauna. We also really appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay, and we would happily come back again.

Had such a lovely stay at this beautiful property! Very thoughtfully designed and outfitted. Beautiful natural light throughout the cabin, a great kitchen, and heated floors! The sauna was such a treat! The owners were extremely helpful and responsive. It was a relaxing, cozy retreat in the coldest part of the winter. We loved it and will certainly be back!

Really loved this place! Nice, relaxing way to get away for an extended weekend. Cabins are super comfy and cozy. The sauna was an excellent experience. It made me want to find one closer to home. Owners were so nice that they offered to ship me the slippers I’d forgotten when we left. Easy five-star review.

We stayed in the Gray Cabin which was lovely. The decoration is beautifully Scandinavian and the Sauna is great - quite large and fit our whole family inside. The loft is definitely only accessible if you're quite agile :) but the kids loved it up there as their own personal space. Very close to Lutsen so convenient for skiing and 20 min from Grand Marais for a nice lunch on the water and some Christmas shopping.

Without any hesitation do I recommend staying at Ski Hill Cabins and Saunas. Patrick and Mccabe have thought of every comfort and detail for your experience here. The cabins are modern and cozy with incredible finishes for everyday living creature comforts. The sauna experience is a perfect way to start the day or to warm up and decompress after a day of hiking and cold plunges. The best Lutsen stay experience available, hands down!
