West Cliff Inn, A Four Sisters Inn

Five stars are not enough to show the greatness of the West Cliff Inn. The location is amazing with the beach and Boardwalk almost directly across the street and it’s a very easy and short Uber ride to many restaurants and bars. The rooms are very comfortable with a fireplace to add to that romantic ambience. Every night they offer a wine and cheese time with a good selection of snacks and two very amazing house wines. They have a good selection for breakfast with a delicious main dish. With all of the great things I’ve mentioned, I still haven’t told you the best part. The people that work at the West Cliff Inn are some of the most amazing people in any business. We had a minor issue with our stay and they went well above and beyond our wildest expectations to make things right for us. T

Thank you for such a memorable stay at the West Cliff Inn. Mary, the manager, shared the history of the Inn . With that perspective we enjoyed each room with imaginings of another time. The Inn stands proudly on a hill, the rooms are well appointed and the Salon was comfortable, and intimate. The Inn's location was perfect for us because we were able to walk to the beach, Boardwalk, wharf and downtown. Breakfast offered healthy choices, but the Quiche was the culinary highlight. I call it, the delicious Signature Breakfast offering. Afternoon Wine and Cheese was a welcomed addtion to come home to after a busy day. The historic Inn with its verandas and rocking chairs, had a warm feel and view of the ocean and wharf. With Mary's warm greeting, we felt like we were welcomed into a home

Clean, comfortable room. The Inn was centrally located to our destinations. The included breakfast was great. We also enjoyed the wine in the afternoon provided by the West Cliff. The friendly staff made us feel welcomed. I recommend a stay at the West Cliff Inn for a quick and easy get away

Came here for my birthday this weekend. We were all ready and packed for a full weekend of hiking. Unfortunately a storm came in so we couldn't use half the stuff we packed. Nevertheless, we had a fun time a couple nights at this inn. Great location near downtown. Went for some short runs in between the rains. There's a lagoon close by that's nice for walking through. It's fairly large and you can spot animals in the summertime. You can also walk about 20 minutes south to seal point where there are a lot of surfers and some fun spots you can go down to the water. There's also a trail for biking and running nearby. We even saw a giant rainbow 🌈 Hotel itself is great. The room we got was a little on the small side and we had to be careful walking around lest we hit our feet on the furnit

The West Cliff Inn is a unique and delightful experience, right on a hill over the best of Santa Cruz. It's easy walking distance to The Wharf, The Boardwalk, and The Pacific Garden Mall (downtown), but there's included parking. Walking along west cliff at sunset is a required experience, and even better, do it on bikes. The inn provides beach cruisers (bikes) to loan out - with helmets and locks, no extra charge. Our room was beautifully furnished, with an ocean view, a very comfy bed, a fridge, and a coffee maker (they provide powdered creamer). Our room had no air conditioning, so if that's an issue for you, ask before booking. The breakfast was outstanding each morning - a specialty baked bread, and a different egg delight each morning.
