Ocean Echo Inn & Beach Cottages

My mom, daughter and I had an amazing time here. Pelican cottage was perfect, with view of the ocean and private bedroom. Sofa bed was comfortable. Nice little breakfast. Easy walk to a beautiful beach. Room was clean and quiet. We went up to Felton for the steam train ride and walked through redwoods at Henry Cowell state park (walk from train depot).

We had a lovely stay at Ocean Echo. The room was nicely updated, spacious and clean and we loved the location away from the busier parts of Santa Cruz. The kitchenette was sparely equipped, but we didn't plan to cook anyway. Unfortunately, the beach had flooded, so one of the best aspects of this location wasn't really accessible, but- it's October...The walk along East Cliff Drive in the morning was still lovely and the beaches were accessible close by. The continental breakfast was the best assortment for my taste of any I've had in similar lodgings. Thanks, Deb! The staff are friendly and helpful and we would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute set of cottages. The location was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was nice. We had 6 adults in the largest cottage and it worked out great (keep in mind there is only one bathroom, but we managed it fine). Since we were there for a wedding, the upstairs deck was very central and accessible to all of the guests. The little beach (Sunny Cove) right down the street was super cute - I grew up near Santa Cruz and went to many beaches there and never knew about this beach. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed for just one night. We arrived on time for check-in and our room wasn't ready. We had to wait about a half hour for it to be done. The property has outdoor spaces and we waited on the deck. It has a nice view of the ocean. Once in the room it was clean and spacious. We had one of the Blue Whale rooms and it worked out well for the 3 of us. It's an easy walk to the Sunny Cove and the beach. There is a small continental breakfast and coffee.

We had a beautiful experience staying in the Blue Whale room! It was very clean and spacious with an amazing view from our room of the beach. The weather was perfect, we opened up our windows and let the cool fresh air breeze right into our room. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helped us check in quickly, they helped us feel very comfortable. I look forward to future trips out there. Thank you!!
