Watermark Inn

Friendly, family staff. Rooms are sizable and clean and have a good beachy feel. A few things to note, however: beds are among the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in (like sleeping on boards), in fact the pullout was more comfortable than the actual bed. Amenities are basically non existent from what I could tell; just the bare minimum. It is also quite a hike into town…you’ll definitely get your steps in. Lastly, they charge per person, which I have never experienced ever in a hotel/inn (I’m sure it was in their fine print, but regardless…). In fact it was kind of creepy how they let us know that they “noticed” a third with us (which we weren’t hiding or anything, there was just a pullout couch and plenty of room for the two nights). The suites have a good view of the bay. Its all this place has going for them and its very expensive to stay there. Not worth the money to stay there. I would advise not to rent even one night there! The funiture is old and outdated. My family and I could not even eat comfortable at the dining table. The chairs are old and uncomfortable to sit on and they don't match the table in height. You need pillow to sit on the chair or you sink down. The couch is an old Ikea couch which opens up into a bed with springs sticking in your back. Small tv's unknown brand that didn't work properly. The bed is so uncomfortable the mattress must be so very old. The owners are hardly around and are not very friendly people. Do not waste your money. Go somewhere else. Steer clear of this place. I

We have been going to the water mark in for 20 years. We have never, ever been disappointed. It is a dream hotel or condominium right on the water. Beautiful magnificent views. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is and the staff. And the owners, the people that gave it a bad review. Must have been grumpy old, dirty old then. Bob ||MORSEY. I booked the Watermark because, after calling several places in town that were either a bit rude, booked, or required a minimum stay, I called the Watermark and none of these were the case. The owner was so friendly on the phone I didn't even hesitate to book right then! They sent my confirmation in the mail the next week. ||||It is an amazingly pretty and clean inn right on the water. Even the smaller rooms not looking out to the water have access to the beach and deck. The rooms are quite large with a kitchenette which is some of the best value for you money in P-Town. Be aware the inn is about 1-mile down from the center of town, but as beautiful as it is, you won't mind the stroll. Plus, it is nice and quite as it is out of town on a less traffic-ed street. Went to Watermark Inn for a two day getaway in November. Peace, quiet and a gorgeous sunset/sunrise on the bay from the deck. You can hear the lapping of the waves and the seagulls both day and night. Second floor suite was clean and spacious. The Inn was Covid conscious and thorough in adhering to all guidelines. The owner was kind and available for any questions or concerns. ||Great walk into town||...fell in love with Provincetown. ||A well needed, perfect two days of serenity.
