Norse Wall Guest House

The Norse Wall House in Provincetown is the Best. In the 30 years we've been going to P-Town, We've never had a better time and a better stay. Richard and Peter do a great job of keeping the 3 perfectly designed units beautiful and private. They're always ready to help if you need anything, but you probably won't. The photo shown is the sunrise view from the top unit - stunning 180 degree views of the bay and neighborhood surrounds.

I just finished a stay at the Norse Wall House in Provincetown, MA. The accommodations were perfect. I stayed in the Lighthouse which was spacious and comfortable. The location is unbeatable; quiet, but just minutes away from the center of town and all the attractions. Situated in the West End, you are steps away from the Joe (for morining coffee), Relish (for lunch or a cupcake), and Perry's (for wine, etc.). And, you are a 5 minute bike ride to the beach. The hosts Richard and Peter are wonderful; very accommodating and friendly. I would not hesitate recommending this guesthouse to anyone. I plan on staying there again.

We came to the Norse Wall House and stayed at the cottage for Labor Day week. The view from the cottage of the bay is wonderful, as is the breeze. The decor is comfortable and authentic mid-century stylish. The deck off the master bedroom is a lovely addition with a view of the garden and gets great sunlight. Located in the west end, you are near Herring Cove beach to sunbathe and watch incredible sunsets. You are also close enough to the center of town to all the conveniences; shopping, restaurants and fun. The owners are incredibly easy to work with, and make you feel very welcome. They are as nice as can be. They made us feel right at home immediately, and their dog is a lot of fun as well. What a great find. The owners have paid attention to every last detail. We live on the Northshore of Boston and are last minute bookings to the Cape for a few day escapes. We really felt for the first time that week could image ourselves staying beyond 3 days if we had a suite (which by the way was the smallest of their rooms) like they provided us. The kitchen was well equipped. Although the room had AC, we opted for the priceless cross breeze which the many windows provided. We also had a nice deck and table and chairs when we felt we wanted to sit outside. The room also had a TV and DVD. There was also the added bookselve library for our enjoyment. Highlight of our visit was sitting around large table in outside courtyard sharing stories and wine or coffee with new acquaintances. The hosts kept a friendly distance that fit our needs for privacy and our desire for more than just a hotel room. As someone who frequents ptown's bnbs and short term rentals, It's not that easy to strike the right balance of availability and distance, yet Richard and Peter were so easily accessible without becoming overbearing which was part of my recent experience at a top rated bnb.||Room as pictured with plenty of space and great sheets on bed!||I really shouldn't write about this west end hidden treasure...
