Benchmark Inn

Visiting from England we absolutely love the Benchmark Inn and 8 Dyer Street. The rooms are both comfortable and classy, the amenities are great - nice places to sit and relax, the pool is a real bonus and the location in town is perfect. But what really makes it is Steve, Brandon, Shane and Greg who are all so helpful, kind and friendly they make you feel like part of the family rather than just a guest. We’ve stayed at the inns 3 times now and will soon be back for a fourth. Highly recommend it.

Lovely place! The host is delightful and very helpful. Breakfast was perfect (homemade pastries, jams, eggs, fresh fruit, jogurt, excellent coffee). |The room (#4) has everything one might need: a spotless bathroom, comfortable bed, TV, a small outdoor area and a fireplace if needed!|All very tastefully decorated .|The lounge is beautiful, as is the garden.| A wonderful place to stay in Provincetown, close to everything.|We'll be back.

Stayed here with my fiancé for our anniversary! Dan & Daniel were magnificent hosts — Daniel made our morning breakfasts an absolute treat with homemade breads, fresh eggs, yogurts, cereals and plenty of coffee (thought the day, too)! Our room was quite cozy and quaint. The location is top notch with most activities and destinations within a 5-15 minute walking distance. (We casually mentioned that it was our anniversary during a conversation with Daniel… and went back to our room later that evening to a beautiful surprise… champagne to celebrate, courtesy of Dan & Daniel).

Special thanks to Daniel for his Swiss hospitality. Everything is top notch. The breakfast he prepares every morning for guests is a special treat. He was an over the top host. Everything you want to see during your stay is walking distance from this lovely inn. Great location , great host , cozy and clean rooms , and the conversation with this beautiful gentleman is a bonus. My husband and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone wanting to tour this area. Thanks so much, Daniel for making us feel so welcome and comfortable.

My wife and I recently stayed three lovely nights at the Benchmark Inn. Dan, Daniel, and Thomas were very welcoming and very friendly hosts. The room (#2) was spotless and comfortable. We liked that there were two ways to access the room. Breakfast included fresh-baked breads and pastries, cheeses, eggs, home-made jams, granola and excellent coffee. The Inn was on a quiet side street, close to Commercial Street stores, restaurants, art galleries, etc... We have stayed in Provincetown many times and we have to say that the Benchmark Inn is the best we have encountered.
