Walnut Forest Motel

I live in the neighborhood behind this place. But I'd say about 35 years ago my parents went outta town for a few days & left me in the care of my 17 year old sister. That would make me 10 at the time. It was safer back then. But even so we got scared at home that night so she & I scraped 2gether any money we had & she drove us up there. I guess they didn't card or whatever but we got a room. We walked in with our back packs & turned on the lights. I knew it was bad but at that age I was naive & didn't know how bad. My sister looked around & asked if I'd rather sleep in the car. She went back out to her car & grabbed big comforter she had and said we could sleep on top & sleep fully clothed. The place was trash. The bathroom was small & dirty the carpet was worn & dirty, the smell was bad

When we arrived, the Staff was lazy and don't care about the customer at all. After that the Staff took very long time to check us in. So, we checked into the hotel, and we settled in. We noticed the hotel was dirty bed bugs were very to be found. Not clean at all. So, we decided to notify the staff, and as we were going to the office, we noticed our car was damaged. A brand new 2024 car was damaged. So, we told the staff about all the things going on, and the staff didn't even care at all. not even apologizing that the hotel is not safe to stay at. We tried to get video recording from staff and their video was so poor quality that you can't even see anything on it. and we said to the staff that we don't want to stay, and they didn't even care to offer a refund. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. THIS HOT

The staff are unbelievably kind, truly awesome. The rooms are clean 🫧 and at a moderate prices . The property is very calm and welcoming. Definitely recommend
