I rented and lived there for 9+ years. Then I was forced out and was being charged over $2K in fees for things I was not contractually liable for. I was going nowhere dealing with the manager, so I was forced to go over the manager's head and contacted the CEO of the management company. Long story short, I not only did NOT have to pay anything but actually received a refund. I have no idea who the current manager is hence no names are being used. This was a few years ago. The park was at that time clean and well maintained, and as a single woman near retirement age I always felt safe living there even though there was a gang presence in the neighborhood. I generally don't like giving poor reviews. I'd much rather give happy ones; however, we had the same experience as Mrs. Glover but worse. My husband was hired by a local nonprofit to update their computer system and needed a place to stay with our RV. I called a week or two before hand and was told, "first come, first served," and they refused to take a deposit on the space they had. My husband and I trotted down from Portland and arrived late. The office was closed but there was a sheet available in the box that listed overnight prices. We found they had three spots available. Exhausted, we set up for the night in an empty spot, expecting at minimum to be able to stay overnight. Don't waste your time. We had to travel from Missouri to California for my husband job. I called them 3 weeks in advance for spot the woman told me to call a week before to see if she still had a spot I did she said she would save a spot (I even offered to pay in advance but she declined) and for us to call before we leave to confirm we are coming. I called on Tuesday we were leaving on Thursday to confirm she said she really didn't remember talking to us but she has a spot and would see us on Saturday. Called Friday morning to see if we could come late in evening or next day. She never answered left 3 messages she finally called back at 530 and when she did she said they don't allow anyone to come after 5 and they remember talking to us and they have no room. I talked with Birdie for two weeks prior arriving at the RV park she assured me for two weeks that I would have a space . I drove from Texas to Concord with this in mind. The day that I arrived she informed me that because I was a man she would not allow me to rent a spot. I had all the money ready and had a great RV. This RV park is a joke and Birdie should be fired for her unprofessional attitude and performance. When you promise to hold a spot for someone for two weeks and they ask to pay for it and you let your personal feelings,pride ego and bias interfere with your job you are not a professional. This is the worst RV park in Concord. There are much better parks in the area that are professionally run and don't discriminate based on age, Sex, sexual orientation etc. I wouldn't stay

Great location in the heart of Monument Blvd. commercial corridor and not too far from BART and Hwy. 680. Simple and straightforward operation with pleasant management and neighbors - and not too many frills. Utilities included except TV and internet need separate subscriptions.
