Concord Plaza Hotel

We ended up leaving about ten minutes after getting to the room. I've stayed many times in hotels that are old, dated, even dingy to a degree. Unfortunately, this hotel was completely filthy, with dirt, stains, and grime ground into the carpets - it felt almost slimy underfoot. There was also hair and dirt in the sheets, no mattress protector underneath the sheet, and the mattress was massively ripped and stained. The peeling wallpaper and damaged furniture weren't the dealbreaker for me but they didn't help. The front desk clerk was very polite, but having previously worked in two hotels, I would consider having an earbud in and wearing a hoodie to not be super professional. Funny enough, he seemed completely unsurprised when I came downstairs and told him we would have to stay elsewhere

Excellent experience. My husband had an outpatient test at 7 am this morning at John Muir Hospital, he is a former Airborne Ranger and refuses to be late for any appointment. The Concord Plaza Hotel is ideally situated for this former soldier. The rooms are large and the King Bed provided a great night sleep for him. We made it to his appointment in 7 minutes. I think I actually saw him smile as we pulled into the parking lot. Thank you for the Excellent Service especially the check in process. First class service.

The hotel was quit large with an atrium in the center of it. Our king size room was a good size. I used a black light to see how clean the room was and to my surprise it was extremely clean. The breakfast could have had a little more choices, but it was better than nothing at all. We had the bacon cheeseburger from the restaurant it was really good. We would definitely stay there again.

Recently stayed, disappointed hotel under renovation; room dated; advised guests required to give 24hr notice for room attendance, Loud reception in atrium right next to room - no notice to change room. Hotel bar, restaurant and complimentary breakfast subpar with service and quality offerings. Once an impressive hotel now not even a shadow of its former self.

Positive: Breakfast was limited, but pretty tasty. Good amount of parking. Negative: Carpet was stained, bathroom grout looked to have what appeared as mold, probably due to the fact that there wasn't a fan in the restroom. Restroom was also very small. AC felt like it wasn't working properly as room felt very humid and muggy.
