Unity Village: Hotel and Conference Center

It was a very clean and comfortable stay. It was a bit odd at first pulling into the parking lot that was empty. But I was comforted by the nice lady at the check in desk. There is 24 hour security and it’s an open Christianity non denominational place that all are welcomed. I add that in case you don’t do your research like me and are surprised by it being a religious village and its own town. They even set up some coffee and breakfast items early for me, as I did tell them I would be leaving early in the morning.

Positive: This was cleanest room I ever had. Great bed. Nice staff. But.?read the rest. Negative: I?ll never stay again. Just the weirdest feeling ever. Location was in a compound of other buildings that were deserted. Barely saw another person, or another car. My wife said it felt like we were in a cult compound and I agreed.

I believe this to be the very finest hotel in Lee’s Summit and actually in the south KC area as well, so much so that even if I were visiting anywhere in south KC, Grandview, Raytown, Belton or Independence I would book our rooms at the Unity Hotel. Unity Hotel is the cleanest, most well maintained hotel we have ever stayed in, with the kindest staff one could wish for.

This was a perfect property for our four day stay. I would give more stars if I could. There is a lovely and care that is prevalent with each of the staff I encountered. I travel for a living, and will say this property is so clean it's astonishing.

The hotel is clean and well cared for. The beds are comfortable and roomy. I love being there onsite when I am at Unity /Village for a retreat. It allows be to take breaks and have quiet time.
