Jacomo Campground

Our 3rd time, each visit has been great. Chris and Krissy great hosts. This visit we had a tent site (everything booked). Second night asked if I could recharge our battery. They asked if we wanted to move to a pull through! Someone left early and gifted the space. We were able to move our tear drop set up over. My daughter and I really enjoy this campground. Close to central KC, great for quick weekends. Lake access, wildlife, Old Missouri Town close by.

Chris and Krissy made us feel super welcome, made the check in and firewood purchase quick and easy, and facilitated a guest to come see the sites that we had set up. They were very present and easy to find for anything we needed. We have been to Jacomo before, and it's experiences like these that make this camp a short list for us. Thank you!

I just got back home, and I wanted to share my experience at this campground. Thanks to Chris and Kessey, it was an amazing place! The kids had a blast, and it was super safe. Everything was organized and clean, which made it even better. If you’re looking for a fun, successful, and relaxing camping experience, this is the place for you. We’re definitely coming back again!

Very friendly caretakers. Very nice campground- quiet. We were welcomed by free roaming deer near our campsite.

My girlfriend and I have never been to a campground that requires a tent. We have a built in bed in our CRV, which we prefer to sleep in. They said we could not sleep in our car and turned us away at 8pm. We even offered to pay for an RV space and a were also denied.
