Super 8 by Wyndham Lees Summit

Rooms were clean and well tended. Bed was comfortable and we asked for extra pillows and the accommodated us for that. Bathroom was clean and stocked well and we never ran out of anything. Housekeeping even found my girlfriend's nose stud she lost and put it somewhere we'd find it!! - The waffles they offered were all we needed to be satisfied at breakfast. Pool looked very clean though we didn't partake. Couldn't have asked for better service, overall!

Checked in at 4:43 pm and out at 5:15 pm. Nastiest lady at the counter but her personality matched the place. If you want bed bugs this is the place to go. Do not know how this place passes inspection. Door to room had a gap you could stick your fingers through. Anyone in the hallway could see through it. Smelled of weed. Not 100% not smoke free. Hair ties, fake eyelashes and candy wrappers on floor next to bed. Poop on bathroom floor, just dirty. Don’t feel safe at all. Which was no concern to her. Asked for money back lady at counter said no, she immediately got a bad attitude. Just left the hotel is disgusting I have never smelled a hotel lobby that stink so bad and this serve food. Save your money and go to Comfort inn.

They had lots of maps and information on just inside the front door. Our check in experience was good.||We stayed in a plain room, but it was everything we needed and mostly in good repair. There was a Perkins Restaurant (even open Thanksgiving Day) and an Aldis Grocery Store very close by.||Bathroom fan which came on with the light sounded like it was broken or about to break but it didn’t bother me after a while. Tub contained a non-slip mat and there was no water softener, which I like. Rea||Bed was good, although I prefer a queen size to a king because I am small. Still that is not the motel’s fault.||Breakfast was good but standard.||Bottom Line: I would stay here again.

Positive: I didn't like anything other than the location. Negative: ROACHES!! The hotel is dirty, has trash sitting around, hair in sinks and shower, multiple extremely strong air fresheners in different scents so strong you can taste them, missing necessities like Kleenex and toilet paper, and cockroaches.

Wyndom wants me to check in on line but property doesn't get info and I had to do it all over. Otherwise a great stay. Appreciated the really quiet heating unit but wish the thermostat worked better. Had to turn unit off at nite.
