Tru by Hilton Radford

I stop writing reviews for almost 4 or 5 years . I hate to write bad reviews really. This time I really have to. I will stay away from Tru by Hilton for my entire life. Tru is just a budget hotel brand carrying the premium Hilton worldwide name. Hilton online customer service is very nice but Tru by Hilton hotel customer service is terrible . I literally do no think Tru belong to Hilton. Hilton is Top hotel and stay in this united state and Europe and all over the world, well known brand . I have stayed in Vegas , paid only 60 dollars , their customer service is better. I booked flight and hotel all the time. I traveled Thailand , Laos , Vietnam , Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia , Japan , Las Vegas , Denver , Boston , Albany, Hawaii , Los Angeles , Miami , I have stayed in hotel every year

Clean, well-equipped Tru hotel. The bed was outstandingly comfortable, shower was also especially good and roomy. I had a positive experience, went to the lobby to write last-minute holiday cards, and found two men playing pool and chatting quietly. The receptionist was at the desk, there were lots of large, clean tables, and it reminded me almost of a resort "lodge" with its cheerful, inviting atmosphere. Breakfast was fine, although there was definitely an emphasis on high-sugar "fun" foods. I would have liked a few more healthy options like unsugared plain low fat yogurt, then let people top it (or not) as they wish. The toppings are already there! There were plain hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, and plain instant oatmeal, so I can't complain too much! Overall an outstanding hotel! I onl

It seemed OK at first. We're staying here while moving and I'm starting a new job. I lost my watch and I figured it was somewhere in my room, but I asked it it had been turned into the lost and found, just to be safe. Our hotel room was cleaned but the sheets weren't changed because my girlfriend's jacket was on the bed and the staff isn't allowed to touch personal items. I was disappointed but I accepted their reasoning and said I'd make sure nothing was left on the bed next time. My girlfriend was feeling itchy and uncomfortable all morning and was unable to sleep the previous night. We weren't scheduled for room service until the next day but I asked if they could change our sheets today. I was then informed that we were being kicked out of the hotel. Found a roach in our room that we paid $700 for 2 nights to stay in. Immediately went to the front desk to be turned away with an “oh well”. Took pictures and everything. Even left their little pet on the counter when I left. Never got a call from their manager, Krista, no apologies, nothing. Hilton says they’ll make these things right but Krista failed to offer a room credit for a different hotel location and declined to issue a refund despite everyone knowing roaches are unacceptable, always, period. Leila or Leann, the girl at the front desk, accused previous guests of having roaches and they must’ve been the ones who let in this full grown egg laying roach. Carpet stinks in the hall and the AC air will clog your sinuses. It’s dirty here. Plain and simple. What a shame.

Positive: Nice location, quiet place Negative: Breakfast was a little disappointing. Would have enjoyed biscuits and gravy. 😊
