Holiday Inn Express & Suites Christiansburg by IHG

Very nice hotel. Breakfast options were good, the pool area looked nice. Plenty of parking and there's an automatic door on the side leading to the rooms that makes it a lot more convenient to get to your room/car. When we pulled up it looked like the lobby and pool area were separate from the rooms and basically it is, there's a hallway that leads from the front desk past the pool to the rooms and elevator to get to higher floors. The building where the rooms are they have an automatic door you just scan your card and it opens from the outside and on the inside you just walk up to it and it opens so it makes it more convenient to get to your vehicle from your room so you don't have to walk all the way down to the lobby and then all the way down the parking lot. Very clean! Top of the line products in bathroom! Pumps were all DOVE products! It was quiet and the Staff were friendly! The housekeepers all greeted us with a good morning and smile. Front desk Krystal was efficient and friendly! Pool was clean and fitness room. Only down thing was, no vending machines however; you can purchase drinks at the desk.

We were two couples traveling. My Wife and I stayed in 201, which was spotlessly clean, and looked recently renovated. We heard no noise from other guests which added to our enjoyment. Breakfast was standared HIE, but of course, the cinnamon buns...yum!|At check-in, we found Vicki to be super friendly and wonderfully willing to join in the banter between us and our friends. It personalized the check-in. |At breakfast one morning, there was some kerfuffle in the lobby with an unwelcome intruder. The manager deftly removed the person from the property and then she entered the breakfast area to apologize for the inconvenience. I was very impressed.

We stay here a few times a year. Perfect place for our travels. We'll kept facility. Front desk is always polite and helpful. Just enough amenities to my liking. Service is always clean, almost impeccable. Nice, quiet location, too. I like that.
