Quality Inn Christiansburg - Blacksburg

The area is rather shady. The bathtub drained terribly slow. The commode / toilet ground every time you flushed. The carpet just seemed like it was nasty it needs to be steam cleaned. Otherwise it was convenient. I put the little refrigerator that was sitting next to the door in front of the door because I did not feel safe. Also, if the room would have been cleaned properly they would have found a pair of socks next to the air conditioner unit which I could see. There was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. It just did not have that overall clean feeling.

Spotlessly clean, incredibly cheerful and helpful front desk. Surprised I liked this motel, was all set to "compromise" but ended up liking it and will stop there in future on roadtrips. 1 night only for a good night sleep in clean linens. I did not use the shower, can't speak to that. The bathroom mirror was updated but not great for makeup application.

Stayed at many hotels over the years. This hotel has declined over time. It is being renovated, but poorly done. First room appeared to have been used. Next room…Toilet paper holder ripped off wall. No toilet paper. TV not operable. No soap or soap dispensers. We would be stretching it to give it two stars.

Staff was wonderful, warm and friendly. Bed was comfortable. Pool was closed, due to pump failure, however other people were using it along with the hot tub. Rooms are very old and tired. Don't expect much, Rug was ripped, furniture was scraped up.|Only stayed due to the fact that we were in town for a funeral and needed to stay somewhere with our dogs.

This is a good hotel. Staff are very friendly, everything in the room works, you get a coffee maker, microwave, a mini fridge. The TV has a decent amount of options. The bed was clean and comfortable. It had a/c and heat that you can regulate to your exact liking. Parking was good, we had no issues finding a spot. It is not the Four Seasons, the place is not fancy. Things are basic and simple, but our room was clean and staff were very nice, that works for us. I will gladly come back in the future.
