Tru by Hilton Portland Airport

We stayed here twice in a week due to early/late flights. It was interesting comparing the 2 experiences because they were drastically different. The first time we didn’t need a parking pass and we were not given a Hilton Honors bag and the room was very small. The second time we were given a bag and needed a parking pass and the room was quite spacious. Not the nicest hotel but the beds were comfortable and the location is convenient to the airport. Next time I’ll try somewhere new but this wasn’t a bad choice

Positive: Front desk receptionist was nice. Negative: The bathroom was not clean. There was mildew on the floor and in the shower. It was not clean and disgusting. The continental breakfast was not good. The milk was rotten and chunky. I have pictures of the bathroom and the rotten milk.

We spent the last night of our Sierra and Cascade National Park trip in Portland before flying out. Aside from dinner, we did not do a lot in Portland, so this was a perfect location near the Interstate and close to the airport. It is like other Trus so the rooms were clean and efficient and a great way to end an amazing trip. Staff was great and the location very convenient.

Stayed here because of its proximity to the airport. We landed a bit after midnight and check in was quick and easy. Large and clean hotel lobby. The lady at the front desk was nice. The rooms were also clean with a very nice smell to match. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Toiletries available. They offer a whole continental breakfast as well as other pasties and fruits. Secure and enclosed parking. Feels safe. Not too loud considering the airport is nearby. Good WIFI signal.

We stayed here for 3D2N (Dec 2025) , we had a bad experienced because we did requested to the hotel presentative for a clean room, no smoking, no pets smell, and quiet room. But, the first room they gave us was a bad smell room, we could heard some noisy came from hotel window, two bed mattress has a bad smell, also the bathroom sink drain for hand wash was clogged - disgusting. Truly, we could not sleep well. Then, the second room that the hotel gave us looks like a connecting room. We really do not expected that at 5:00am in the morning, morning call alarm makes a sound bip for almost 15 minutes from our next connecting room (there was no guest hotel in that room at that time - I guess previous guest forget to turn it off the alarm).
