Loved our stay! Very fun venue = way beyond a hotel. They have themed bar hopping, soaking pool, secret room, restaurants, courtyards, theater, gift shop, & options for private events! VERY accessible too! I was in a cast and never had to use stairs once 🫶 - they even were able to accommodate me to a first floor room!
My partner and I stayed here the night before an early morning flight out of PDX airport. We loved it. The room is pretty basic. We stayed in one of the classrooms. The bed was comfortable and everything was extremely clean. Despite the heat wave, we were cool in the room with the help of the ceiling fan. ||While I had a lovely time, I'm not sure I would stay there again unless I got a big discount on the room. The cost comes from the charm of the hotel, not the charm of the room, as the rooms are designed not to have TVs, mini fridges, coffee or tea. I knew to expect this so it was not a problem at all. The restaurants and bars were lovely and we enjoyed happy hour at the restaurant. Next time, I'll opt to go there for food and drinks and then use the money saved to stay in a more luxurio
Positive: I asked for a quiet room and the staff delivered. Great room and wonderful soaking pool to boot - what was there not to like?? Negative: The soaking pool was quite busy during the hours it was open for public reservations.
Mcmennamins places are always cool, creatively decorated and unique. This location has sofas and tables in the cinema, reasonably priced movies, great food, interesting nooks, little hidden bars, exotic decorations. Gift shop packed with treasures, and their own finely crafted beverages. They have cider, beers, spirits. We had pepperoni pizza and Cajun tots and everything was great! Staff were very friendly and helpful. They had fire pits outside and covered areas for outside seating. There is a bathing pool as well that we saw people enjoying. This area is very walkable with many stores and other restaurants nearby.
Stayed here for 2 nights in December. The hotel itself is really cool with a bunch of unique bars. The area is really beautiful and a short walk to more restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shopping. All of the employees were really friendly and helpful. We LOVED the heated soaking pool, and really appreciated the hotel guest-only hours as it gets quite busy when its opened to the public. It was a perfect ending to the day. And very Pet friendly!
