Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Downtown/Pearl District

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was excellent - helpful, courteous and friendly. Our studio room overlooking the courtyard was terrific, quiet, comfy and very clean. The breakfast was super impressive, a great spread with lots of choices. Again, we appreciated the staff who were preparing and keeping the breakfast tidy. We were allowed to check out an hour late which we really appreciated. The valet staff, especially Robert and Steven, were awesome, they were very quick and efficient and we had fun joking around with them. Overall, I can't recommend this hotel enough. If we are ever in townn again, we'll be back!

The Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront (commonly referred to as the "Marriott Downtown Portland") is a solid, reliable choice with stunning Willamette River views, especially from higher floors Mt. Hood on clear days is a bonus. Great central location for walking to downtown attractions, parks, and events. Clean, spacious rooms, comfy beds, and amenities like a gym and on-site dining get consistent praise Downsides: strong hotel scents that bother sensitive folks, highway noise in lower rooms, and pricey parking Overall, 4.5-5 dependable for business or leisure if you snag a river view room and don't mind standard Marriott vibes.

Very professional and friendly residence right next to union station. Feels very peaceful, not sketchy, parking is easy and they even have a valet team standing by. This might be the most professional hotel in PDX. Very impressed with the team they put together here and facilities feel brand new. 10/10

A big shout out to the staff for a lovely stay experience while my husband and I relocated to Portland. Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, dining room/bar, maintenance, and valet were kind and helpful. The whole valet team were great. One special mention of Rob in valet is warranted. He greeted me every day with a warm smile and "The best day of my life!" when I asked how his day was going. Thank you to the entire staff for a lovely experience.

One of the best stays I’ve had with Marriott! The room was comfortable, but the staff truly made me feel welcomed and appreciated. Steven, Robert and Jazmine to name a few always took great care of me and made this feel like more than just a work trip. I would DEFINITELY recommend this Marriott Hotel to anyone staying in the Portland area! - Chris
