Providence Medical Center Guest House - Portland

My mom and I have stayed here twice now. Everyone is so very polite, helpful and caring. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I can’t thank Providence enough for having such a convenient place to stay when your loved one is in the hospital just a couple blocks away. It makes a world of difference especially when sometimes you just don’t know if your loved will be discharged the same day. To be that close to the hospital is priceless. But to be surrounded by such lovely staff is a cherished bonus!

Everyone here is helpful, goes out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. The rooms are nicer than 4 star hotels I have stayed at for 3X the price. In the daylight basement is a huge kitchen, dining, and large lounge, with tv, library, kids toys, jigsaw puzzles and games. At $60 per night for a single queen bed, table, dresser, closet, tv, free wi-fi internet, large private bathroom, small kitchen area with sink, microwave, fridge, plates, glasses, tableware in your room. Within walking distance of the hospital, it can't be beat. Oh, and Infinity tv and phone in your room as well. Do not forget about fresh chocolate chip cookies at 2 pm. They go quick!

Stayed here for one night with my wife and was very pleased with the accommodations. They have single or double queen rooms. We chose the single and were perfectly comfortable. Got in late but was provided a door code in advance. The price was very reasonable, the people were friendly, and the room was spotless. The nearby Starbucks is a bonus, and the hospital is a close enough to walk to. While I hope to never have the need, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Providence for the hospitality!

A convenient place to stay one block away from the Providence Hospital complex. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Very friendly staff. $65 per night. A good place to stay while caring for someone at the hospital.

I was very impressed with the Guest House. I stayed two nights while my mom was in the ICU. The facility is better than a lot of “nice” hotels I’ve stayed at. I really want to give a big thank you to Kathy, I don’t think anyone who is staying here is in the best moment of their lives. Kathy was an absolute delight and brought a little light to my hard couple of days.
