Tru by Hilton Lancaster East

Cancelled this hotel before my trip was over. Hotel looks more like a local spot for families and kids sports teams. Hotel was packed and looked dirty just from pulling into the parking lot. I'd say if you need a quick busy local spot this is for you. Not a place to stay if you're visiting for leisure.

Rooms are small. No closets. They have a fun vibe. Lobby has boards games and foosball tables . Breakfast was average. Rooms could be cleaned a little better. Could see foot prints in bathroom leave me to believe they don’t mop them. Locations is great. Closer to all the shops and sight and sound.

This may be an "Econo" brand of Hilton, but they have everything you could need. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower was one of the best I've used. The staff were helpful and courteous. Breakfast was an added plus. Located right on route 30 it was quiet and near many attractions. All in all a great place to stay.

Positive: There is an all day coffee bar. There are games available for all the kids in the lobby. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Negative: There’s only one staff member at desk and it’s a hotel with 5 floors. The pool water is cloudy.

I had to go to Lancaster for a work training recently, and my employer put me in this hotel for almost two weeks. Room was clean, no issues and I can be picky. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Nice cold AC unit and flatscreen TV. No dirt, bugs, grime, spiderwebs etc. - it wasn’t 10/10 amazing, but it was a nice clean room. It didn’t feel like someone just slept there the night before and they wiped everything down in 2 minutes. They keep it pretty clean. Very doable. Two elevators and big hallways so traffic was never an issue. They have a big lobby with a ton of seating for breakfast. I only had a bagel and OJ, but got coffee every morning.
