Terrific stay. Definitely still has that new hotel smell feel and vibe. But even beyond that, staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast checks all the right Marriott boxes and the pool is well-heated and a much appreciated amenity. Our stay turned out to be on a busy weekend (lots of children/teen sports competitions in area), but staff seemed on top of things. Also: It's very well located for stuff to do in Lancaster area. One complaint: Rooms really need better lighting -- an overhead light or a floor lamp would make a huge difference, but that's probably true of all newer TownePlace locations.

I recently enjoyed a two-day stay at the Fairfield TownePlace. Upon entering, I was immediately impressed by the decor and the overall cleanliness of the establishment. The room itself was impeccably clean. Having stayed in numerous hotels, I often feel the need to tidy up upon arrival, but I was delighted to find that no such effort was required, as both the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Furthermore, the entire staff was exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious as well.

TownePlace is a new brand for me, a frequent traveler who prefers Marriott hotels. Usually I stay at Residence Inns. I'm impressed. For a solo traveler, it's more like staying in a friend's nice apartment than a hotel room. The rooms are a bit smaller than Residence Inn branded properties, but if you're traveling by yourself, this is not a problem. It feels cozy. This particular property is brand new, so there are no signs of wear and tear anywhere. ||Pros: Many. Staff is professional and courteous. Exceptionally so, especially front desk staff. I was easily able to transfer and use my Bonvoy points even though I routinely use a third-party booking service. Not all front desk people are willing to this for you. Not a problem here. All the amenities are here: pool, fitness center (not appli

This hotel has a super new vibe. Plenty of parking. Room is very thoughtfully laid out with plenty of outlets and flat services to put things. Staff was friendly. ||Bed was extremely firm - like body going numb when I slept on my side. The microwave clock is very bright and I had to put a towel over it to block out. ||Hallway floors sound hollow. It was a quiet night that we were there so it wasnt an issue, but I'd bring a sound noise if I visited again. ||Breakfast was bad. No muffins, no oatmeal although there were numerous toppings, poor tea selection (Chai and Earl Grey only).

If you're travelling alone on business, this hotel is heaven. Long list of pros: Easy parking. Key card access from every side of the building. Rooms are generally smaller than the Residence Inn brand, but they have all the amenities, and if you're a solo traveler it feels more like you're staying at a friend's apartment than in a hotel room. This is a new property, less than a year old, so everything works and there are no signs of wear and tear. The front desk staff here is among the best I have encountered anywhere, even among five-star hotels. They're happy to help you get your Bonvoy points even if you book with a third-party service. That doesn't happen at every Marriott property. It has a bar (open from 5-10), which is great because I don't use the fitness center or the pool, two t
