We stayed here for a week while visiting family. The hotel is clean, but it is dated. There’s a lot of country decor making it feel like you’re staying at Grandma’s house. The location was good with it being close to restaurants and stores. It was quiet, and the staff was helpful.||The weekday rate was low, but like all hotels in the area, the weekend rate seemed a little high for a no-frills hotel. There isn’t a breakfast. But they do have complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby. Our room had a mini-fridge, and there was a microwave in the hallway. ||Overall, a decent place to stay if you don’t want added extras and/or amenities.

While we were a little disappointed in or visit last year, finding the place clean and tidy, but lacking its usual charm, we were pleased to see some of the charm returning. Flower beds were full and well maintained, the lawns were kept neat. Work needs to continue to bring this place back to its glory days of the previous owners. Some of the Amish styled room furniture needs to return, including the slider rockers which were a treat in each room. Additionally, the artwork in the rooms are typical chain hotel art, nit the Amish country theme that made the place so welcoming and comfortable. We were encouraged by the changes made, but are looking for more on our next visit.

Charming stay with lovely vintage vibes, very much in keeping with the local area. The location is excellent, and the diner next door is perfect for breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, though some features are showing their age, our sink had cracks, and the bathroom suite felt very dated. Check-in was also very slow as the receptionist seemed unsure, which was frustrating after a long day of travel. We had also booked with the promise of a ‘Welcome Gift on arrival,’ but reception had no idea what this referred to, so nothing was provided. While it was a pleasant one-night stop, and we appreciated the character, I don’t think we’d choose to stay again.

Loved the room more than any chain place, it was very homely with the aesthetics really adding to the feel and the location is great close to whatever you’re looking to do in the area. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Very dated but clean and comfortable. Bring your Keurig because the “coffee” is like drinking hot water. The coffee is absolutely disgusting. We drove the 1 mile to target which has a Starbucks inside and that is where we got our coffee in the morning. I would stay here again!
