Tru by Hilton Hershey Chocolate Avenue

Lovely hotel. Location close to everything. Rooms very small but well designed with plenty of hooks and multiuse counters. No carpets which I like. Lots of streaming options on tv. Breakfast was typical. Coffee 24/7 though out when we checked at 10 am. Great lobby with fitness room, foosball, games, etc that made for a community feel. We didn't use the pool but seemed nice. On the downside: cleanliness could be better (handprints on windows and hairs on bathroom counter). Temperature control a little wonky. Keys kept deactivating. I would definitely stay again.

It's a decent stay at a decent price. The rooms were clean. Because of the location, even off season, expect a LOT of children running around. That doesn't impact my rating. The breakfast is a little sparse and made for 5 year olds to carb and sugar it up. The style is a bit Euro, so rooms are compact, which I usually like, but not as a children infused hotel. It's a bit noisy with the hard floors and kids running thru the halls at 7am. Get a top floor room at It's better. I love the food and entertainment recommendations whiteboard! Do go to The Mill restaurant. I've been before and it is a nice dinner spot for the adults. I'm sure kids are welcome there, but my kids weren't big into being patient for a sit down dinner after a long day at Hershey. Go to one of the many local or chain

Positive: The hospitality from the reception upon arrival and check-out. The concierge was warm, friendly and helpful. The other staff were also so kind. Negative: I only stayed for one night but the toilet had a leak from where it gets bolted to the floor.

This was our first time staying at this Tru Hotel. I was able to use the check-in option on my phone and my room was ready right before we arrived in Hershey. Our room was on the 5th floor and we had a great view of the parks coasters from the room. The hotel was quiet, clean, and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was fine. The hotel staff was very friendly. I would definitely book again.

We just stayed for the night, but was pleasantly surprised by the hotel! Location is AWESOME! 5 mins from all the attractions. We were traveling with our dog, so this location was perfect for us because it is next to a cute neighborhood, so perfect for walking the dog around. The service was so delightful, Haylee at the front desk was so kind and accommodating. The only reason for 4 stars is the room is tight. They pack a lot in a king suite. We got the dog’s crate to fit, but dang it was crammed. Of course this nothing on the hotel, but the walls were thin and people were loud with their kids well throughout the night. It’s near an attraction, so no blame there. Loved our stay enough, that when we come back to visit, we will be staying here again. :)
