Hershey Lodge

The lodge was ok. There were a couple of hairs on the mattress and there were a few pretzel sticks on th floor beside the bed, but the manager gave us a bit of a credit since there were no other available rooms. Also, our room looked old and like it hadn't been updated in years. Aside from that, it was nice being able to walk to the convention center. The sports bar restaurant was fine. The water park was like a great wolf lodge, but smaller and aimed more at younger kids. It has two slides that were nice and, because it is a smaller park, there were basically no lines for the slides while great wolf lodge often has lines for the water slides. Bottom line it’s a great location and a fun experience. They have a lot of great restaurants and cool things to see. My only issue is that for the price the room rooms are not that impressive. The beds were definitely comfortable. I’ve definitely stayed at hotels at a lesser rate where the room rooms were definitely fixed up better and nicer decor. For example, their TV options were very limited. I just stated a hotel two weeks ago that you could access Netflix Disney+ and other feature features just by signing into your account. Here you had to use Google cast, which did not work and I’ve never had a good experience with that. It was definitely a nice stay, but I probably wouldn’t spend the money. I go to the lodge every year for cheer competition. We absolutely love it here! The staff are so attentive and always willing to help. They greet you with kindness and want you to truly have the best experience there. I really like being able to take my daughter to the waterpark after she competes. It gives me some down time while she hangs out with her friends. The place isn't huge to where I need to constantly follow her around and the lifeguards are very observant. I give this place 5 stars and I enjoy going every year!!!

Had three rooms for two nights over Thanksgiving weekend for a family trip. Property is (in the words of my son ) a 'labyrinth' and takes a bit of attention to figure out (a) how to get to your room, and (b) where to park to be close to your room. While we recognize we were checking in on a very busy day (Black Friday, holiday weekend) thought the front desk was very understaffed - line was very long; we waited at least 45 minutes to get to the front as there were only three people behind the desk at the time. Rooms themselves were in good shape and comfortable; appreciated the sleeper chair for my young granddaughter. Lobby area crazy busy with families relaxing and playing games - to be expected for a holiday weekend - we just chose to relax in our rooms. Average waits to be seated

Just spent so.e time at the Hershey Lodge and was underwhelmed with this experience. The booking process was fragmented as a new system was being installed they inadvertently charged me more than once. The reservation customer service team were not very helpful and at times curt. Check on was a long process, 45 minutes with the associate needing additional training. The rooms are meh, outdated and not sparkling clean. The indoor water park did not disappoint, we enjoyed hours there. I The food for the most part was good, better than other hotels. The service at the restaurant was satisfactory. Rooms Service was a bust expensive and everything was delivered in plastic containers like it was still a pandemic One and done for me.
