Best Western Plus Hershey

This was a frustrating experience from the start. Our first room had a strong chemical odor (similar to mothballs) and a beetle in the toilet, along with visible staining. After waiting for the front desk clerk to return from a smoke break, we were moved to another room that was slightly better, though still not fully cleaned. There were stray hairs in the shower I had to rinse away before bathing my kids.||The breakfast was poorly managed. Items like pancakes, syrup, sausage, eggs, and even utensils were empty or unavailable. The pool was also uncomfortable. Both the water and ambient air were too cold due to the HVAC system blowing the wrong temperature. Positive: The location to Hershey Park and downtown. Negative: Not enough parking, very low waterpressure in the shower, AC broken in lobby and dining area, and ran out of breakfast items.

Overall a solid stay. The hotel is in a very convenient location, especially if you’re visiting Hershey attractions or traveling by car. Easy access and plenty of parking made getting around simple. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though slightly dated in some areas. Service was friendly and helpful, but there were a few moments where response time could be improved. Nothing major, just room for small refinements. The lobby and common areas were well maintained and welcoming, creating a nice first impression. Overall, a good value for the location and a reliable option for a short stay. Would consider staying again.

I absolutely loved my stay here! I was in town for both work and a little family time, and this hotel checked every box. First off, the location couldn’t be better—super close to all the Hershey attractions, which made it perfect for families, but also quiet enough for getting work done. I had to work out of my room for part of the trip, and the Wi-Fi was fantastic. Seriously—my videoconferences were smooth with zero glitches, which is a huge win when you’re traveling for business. The room itself was spotless, comfortable, and just felt really well cared for. Same goes for the lobby—so pretty, so clean, and just a great space to walk into every day. We had a great stay, the staff member Jessica on second shift was AMAZING!! It was a crazy cheer comp weekend and she handle the chaos so well working all by herself! She was so kind and helpful even though she was visibly overwhelmed.
