Tru by Hilton Cartersville

I travel for few years now, TbH used to be a nice and clean place and I started to see the same patterns, room bathroom with dirty floors, showers had orange mold on the corners, shower floor needs some hard scrubbing, no shampoo, fewer towels, and breakfast needs constantly caring, too much eggs served so it sits there for so many hours, French toast quality was horrible, no forks, no cups, no knives, potatoes same, old. They just put out too much food. Not a good experience.

We had a really enjoyable stay at this modern hotel. It’s pet-friendly, which was a huge bonus for us, and the whole place has a welcoming, relaxed feel. The lobby was a standout feature — stylish yet cozy, with plenty of seating, a pool table, and board games that made it easy to relax and unwind. Breakfast was included and had a good variety: pancakes, sausage, eggs, and yogurt — all fresh and tasty. The staff was excellent: warm, friendly, and always ready to help. Their hospitality really made a difference in our stay. We didn’t run into any major issues, though we did notice the public restrooms were out of Kleenex and toilet paper at one point. Rooms are decent, clean & ready when checked in and reception staff was great. Smooth check in, spacious lobby. Room Thermostat was wonky sometime. When checked in and entered our room, there was a strong cleaning agent smell. Housekeeping - Only the bathrooms were cleaned on day 1 (next morning) but room was not cleaned/beds were not done. (Not sure if this is just one off as they’re were really super busy or general practice at all Tru) Location is perfect. Overall - great location, recommend.

My first time at a tru facility. It is minimalist, no microwave or coffee maker (in my room) but if that is not important to you, his is a great little place nestled on the flank of a mountain. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend for short stays
