MainStay Suites Cartersville - Emerson Lake Point

Just basic. The cost is high for the condition of the rooms. The bathroom was crusty on the walls from water damage (room 108). Floor grout in bad condition and the caulk cracked around the tub. The carpet in the hallway was very dirty and stained. The breakfast was below average. Ending up getting bagels at Panera. The good is that they allow pets and the pool is pretty big. The kitchen in the suite was pretty nice and the bed was comfy.

My stay was nice, the only comments to add are with the quality of the toilet in the room was a bit unstable. As a person with impacted balance at times, it was concerning to sit on it and feel unstable due to movement in the whole thing. The second is the coffee station in the lobby. There wasn’t clear instructions on using the coffee as well as it would be nice to have a small trash bin either on the counter or next to it to dispose of creamer or stir sticks. There was a trash can but you had to walk away from the counter to toss trash away. Overall pleasant stay, just minor changes would improve it.

Clean, quiet room with great amenities. A great hot breakfast, wonderful pool and exercise facilities, friendly staff. The only issue was the shower rod was damaged. I brought this too the attention of the front desk staff.

We stopped here at midnight Lon a Friday night. No reservation. The clerk was kind and courteous. We had just been traveling through Atlanta while sitting in bumper to bumper traffic. We were so happy when she said they had a room. ||We loved the comfortable beds. We felt like it hugged us as soon as we laid down. Plenty of room amenities. We didn’t need a lot just a place to rest our heads. ||We really enjoyed that hot breakfast the next morning. Better than most chain hotels. Clean, fresh, hot and a great variety of I had sausage, eggs, biscuit and gravy. The first place I’ve been to where the biscuit was not hard. ||Two things that need improvement: take out that carpet in the hallways and the vibration in the elevator is a bit scary. ||We would definitely stay here again.

My initial room had a runny toilet and broken heater. Without hesitation she changed my room while being apologetic the entire time. Great breakfast too!
